Pencil Portraits

Pencil portraits of pets, people and anything in between - I'll tackle most things, but it's important to remember that whatever the subject, the better the original sent to me, the better the end result. Generally speaking, I prefer to work from a selection of photos to get more of a feel for the subject, with an indication from yourselves of which one you would prefer as the main pose. These can be sent to me in the post either as photo prints or high resolution digital files on CD. Images can be e-mailed as PDF or JPEG files, but are generally not of high enough quality to work from and would only be used as a guide to help me arrive at a price. In all cases, however, a print is helpful in establishing the correct colours as electronic files can vary from monitor to monitor.

All prints and disks will, of course, be returned.

Your pencil portrait will generally take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete, depending on workload, but a delivery date can be agreed before starting.
